Authentic Japanese taste with Finnish nature
Our food philosophy is based on the Japanese 和 (Wa). In English, this means harmony. The philosophy guides our menu design, flavors, presentation and service. We want to create a harmonious taste and dinner experience for our guests, respecting the Japanese food traditions and the ingredients.

Head Chef
Hannes Tolvanen
I enjoy the simplicity of Japanese cuisine and the challenges it brings. High-quality ingredients in themselves and respect for their taste are important. In my current work, I try to make taste sensations from Finnish ingredients that blend in with Japanese food culture.
The best part of my job is to offer guests new memorable food experiences.
Japanese Food & Restaurant Adviser
Isamu Matsuoka
I believe that the happiness shared by food remains the same in all countries. It is important for me to create tastes that suits the local people and include the Japanese traditional food culture, spices and cooking methods. I help to create a menu, that brings out the Japanese essence by collaborating with the local chef.
